Sponsoo expands internationally with NCAA athletes
Great progress of our portfolio company Sponsoo. The sport sponsorship marketplace added three additional languages and is now available in German, English, Italian, French, Spanish, and Arabic.
They are especially focusing on the US market, where college athletes are now allowed to accept sponsorships. This change of the so-called “NIL” rules led to a run of college (“NCAA”) athletes to sign up on the platform and find sponsors. Sponsoo’s NCAA athlete sponsorship portfolio now even includes several Olympic athletes who are favorited to win medals in Tokyo 2021. With this rapid growth, Sponsoo is setting out to become the go-to place worldwide to book partnerships with NCAA athletes.
