Sponsoo closes Series A funding round

A small step for mankind, a big step for our portfolio company Sponsoo: The Hamburg-based startup has successfully closed their Series A.

We also invested a small stake in the round, together with co-investors such as Andreas Mihalovits (European Angel Investor of the Year 2017), the European Super Angels Club, Hamburg’s Corona Recovery Fonds, BMW’s Global Head of Sponsorship Thorsten Mattig, and the VR Bank Nord.

The volume of the round is EUR 1.5 million. Sponsoo intends to invest the money into product development, internationalization, and sales.
